Feng Fei meets with delegation from Taiwan Chamber of Commerce
On 4 12, Provincial Party Secretary Feng Fei met in Haikou with the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce delegation visiting for the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo.

Representative Feng Fei welcomed the delegation of Taiwanese entrepreneurs to the 6th Hainan International Consumer Products Expo on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and Government. He stated that Hainan Free Trade Port has successfully implemented full-island customs closure, establishing a policy system characterized by "zero tariffs and low tax rates," along with free and convenient flows in trade, investment, cross-border capital movement, personnel entry and exit, transportation, and secure data exchange. Hainan is actively positioning itself as a strategic convergence point for domestic and international dual circulation, further enhancing the level of trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, thereby creating ample space for deepening cooperation between Hainan and Taiwan. Hainan has always placed high importance on cross-strait exchanges and cooperation. We hope that Taiwanese entrepreneurs will take this opportunity to visit the Expo to better understand and invest in Hainan, fostering more practical cooperative projects for mutual benefit and shared growth. Hainan will continue to optimize its business environment, provide dedicated support services, create favorable conditions for the development of Taiwan-funded enterprises in Hainan, and promote deeper and more substantive economic and trade exchanges between both sides.
Xu Shubo, Chairman of the Taiwan Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and other business leaders stated that since the establishment of Hainan Free Trade Port's closure operations, the region has shown strong momentum and vast potential, becoming a prime destination for global investment. They look forward to leveraging the CIIE platform to deepen exchanges and collaboration with all sectors in Hainan, gain a deeper understanding of Free Trade Port policies, expand cooperation in food processing, trade services, and other areas, and share new opportunities driven by opening-up development.
Pan Xianzhang, Deputy Director of the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office and the Central Taiwan Affairs Office, and provincial leaders Yin Libo attended the meeting.
